Elise, co-founder and commercial lead at Cradle, a techbio startup that helps biologists design improved proteins using generative machine learning models, accessible through user-friendly interfaces. Prior to founding Cradle and building out its wet lab capabilities, Elise worked at Zymergen and Perfect Day in California, where she developed high throughput workflows to engineer microbial strains for the production of small molecules and proteins. Elise holds an MSc in metabolic engineering from TU Delft and a PhD in fungal synthetic biology from DTU.
