Peter Wennink was appointed as President and CEO on 1 July 2013. He joined ASML in 1999 as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and member of the Board of Management. Mr. Wennink has an extensive background in business and finance. Prior to his employment with ASML, he worked as a partner at Deloitte Accountants, specializing in the high technology industry with an emphasis on the semiconductor equipment industry. Peter is a member of the Netherlands Institute of Registered Accountants. He is Board Member of the Captains of Industry Eindhoven Region, Board Member of FME (Federatie Voor de Metaal- en Electrotechnische Industrie), Chair of the Eindhovensche Fabrikantenkring and Chair of the Supervisory Board of the Technical University Eindhoven (TU/e). He serves as a member of the Exchange Council of Euronext and council member of the Dutch Top Sector High Tech Systems and Materials (HTSM or Holland High Tech). Peter Wennink is Vice- Chairman of the Advisory Committee of the Dutch National Growth Fund and member of the Steering Committee of the European Round Table (ERT).
